Goal Accomplished: 39 Springwood Seniors Graduate

Image
Photo credit to Steve Mason Photography On Saturday, 39 Springwood students walked and received their diplomas in a ceremony held at Wildcat Stadium in front of family and friends.  " Springwood helped shape me into the young adult that I am today. Participating in the many activities in school provided me with the opportunity to meet other students who shared my interests. The activities/clubs I participated in provided me with leadership skills, allowed for community partnerships, and provided an opportunity to build lifelong friendships. I am so thankful for the opportunities I was given in the varied organizations, sports, and clubs. Being an active member as SGA President and Leo Club President allowed for so many amazing endeavors. The memories that I made over the years will forever be cherished", said 2023 Springwood Graduate Carson Champion.   See your pictures in the Lanett section of this week's Chambers Ledger.

"What a Springwood Education Has Meant to Me"

By Carson Champion Springwood has been such a blessing in my life. The friendships, experiences, and education I have gained in the past fourteen years have surpassed all expectations. The bond I have made with students, teachers, coaches, and administration will forever be an asset to me. I am so very proud that I have two older brothers that are Springwood Alumni and that my family believes in Springwood. Springwood has been the center of my life for many years. I was excited to start Kitty Kats in K4 and have cheered on our WILDCATS each and every year. I took the job of JV and Varsity Cheer Captain very seriously and worked hard with my teammates and coaches to help improve cheering on our teams and holding outstanding pep rallies for our students. The Lady Wildcats were gracious enough to let me start as their bat girl in K4 and I am proud to say that I have enjoyed Springwood softball over the years. Springwood helped shape me into the young adult that I am today. Participating i...
